Installing TeamViewer on Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit
When I tried to install TeamViewer 64bit on my Ubuntu 13.10 64 bit, well I failed. There was this missing dependency "lib32asound2", which i was unable to find it in the repository as well.
What happened ?
After searching in Ubuntu forums, i came to know that Ubuntu 13.10 has multiarch support and unfortunately ( or fortunately ) does not come with ia32-libs package which contains the above library file.
So you cannot install the TeamViewer 64 bit on Ubuntu 13.10 64 bit
So how to install TeamViewer ?
Note that i said "you cannot install the TeamViewer 64 bit on Ubuntu 13.10 64 bit". Here is what I meant :
To install TeamViewer on Ubuntu 13.10 64 bit ( Not only Ubuntu, but other 64bit GNU/LINUXs with multiarch support ), you only need to download the 32 bit. It can be installed without any problems (Although, it might require the installation of dependencies, these are already available in the repository)
